Comparison

Artelier Business vs Artlogic

Artlogic is the long-established platform for galleries, artists and collectors: inventory, contacts, websites and online sales in one suite, with offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. Artelier Business is newer and smaller, and it is built around one record that the artist, their manager and their gallery share. This page sets the two side by side, from Artlogic's own pages as we read them on 2 November 2026.

Where Artlogic is stronger

  • A long track record: founded in 1989, and it says it serves over 6,000 galleries, artists and collectors.
  • Websites with online stores, viewing rooms and several website languages, sold as plans of their own.
  • Large teams: up to 15 users on Professional and unlimited users on Expert, with team management and several locations.
  • An integration with Artsy.

What Artelier Business does differently

  • One record shared by the artist, the manager and the gallery. Each keeps their own account; a work entered once is on everyone's screen, and a sale recorded by one lands on the artist's history.
  • The price calculator, invoices, certificates of authenticity, one-sheets and catalogues come from that record.
  • Open calls are checked and read against the artist's stage by the Career Compass.
  • In English, French and Spanish.
  • Priced per account, not per user: Free, Solo € 9, Pro € 19, Studio € 39 a month (5 artists, then € 6 per further artist), Bespoke from € 199. No commission on sales.
  • A Free plan with no time limit, and 14 days of full access for every new account, with no card.

Questions

Is Artelier Business cheaper than Artlogic?

For a small team, usually. Artlogic is priced per user, from £42 a user a month for its studio module and £90 a user for gallery management. Artelier Business is priced per account, from € 9 a month, and € 39 for a manager or a gallery with 5 artists. Check both pricing pages against the size of your own team.

Does Artelier Business take a commission on sales?

No. You pay a flat fee by the month or by the year, and nothing on your sales.

Can I bring my works over from Artlogic?

Yes. Export your works as a spreadsheet and import it into Artelier Business; past sales can be imported too, so the price calculator reads them from the start.
